oaks - peckham camberwell surrey

could anyone help me find the parents of walter oaks b. 1885 peckham surrey. shown on 1901 census as an apprentice fence fixer.
i think his mothers name was amelia b.1847 whitechapel
but cannot find trace of a father. i think there may be a link to cheshire but im not 100% on that one

hi i am related to tOaks marrhe Oaks family you are on the right path
The Amelia Oaks married Robert Oaks blacksmith
Mary and Ellen died thought from typhoid
Edward Oaks married my grandmother Grace Matilda McDonald they had 5 children Stan, Ngaire, Trevor Mavis and Roy twins . My mother is Mavis they came to New Zealand 1910.
Walter iron fencer  he had a son Sidney lived in Cheshire
Kate  family in New Zesland by the name of Molly and Bill Whapsot daughter Rosemary
Gideon married 1911 Catherine Ellen i am not sure if there were any children
Are you related to the oaks family
