hiya jan
thank you for your help it is annie her mothers maiden name was  Rebecca Tyers so i am on the right track now all i have to do is find Annie Woollands age about 27 in the 1901 census any help would be welcome because she is not with her son Edgar or her inlaws (see above)  and she didnt marry untill 1903 so her name would be still Woollands,

thank you all again
The mystery gets deeper on who edgars father is, was Annie employed there before her pregnancy, or did she go to work at the above address in the 1901 census after edgar was born
i have a feeling and its just a hunch, that she worked there before she became pregnant, On the asumption that if she didn't, she would need to produce references from an early employer and if that early employers wife would know she was with child,  ::) there wouldn't be a cat in h**l,s chance of getting one. So it would be nice to look at the family in 1901 census, Or is it that i have a over enquiring mind lol
i am over the moon with what you lot have come up with
