 Hi  Ballydw

I have spent some time going through that  "Cork Past and Present"  link , there is a lot of really great information  on it . I  saw  a Godson spelled Godsone , something I had never seen before , very interesting .  Thank you

Any possibilities of looking up the following marriages for me please?

Martin Keeffe Apr - Jun 1882 Middleton Volume 4 Page 369

Martin Keeffe Jul - Sep 1911 Middleton Volume 4 Page 308

Martin Keeffe Oct - Dec 1948 Middleton Volume 4 Page 291

Martin O'Keefe Oct - Dec 1914 Middleton Volume 4 Page 331

Don't know who they are or who they married at this stage, I am trying to find Martin O'keeffe and Kate (Catherine Hallisey) grave in Midleton church yard, these are my gt grandparents.

Thanks in advance

Maria

These are Civil records and you should be able to match them up with a spouse. Because they were civil registered in Midleton not necessarily married there

KIDNEY/CLARK
My problem I am not sure what parrish John Kidney, came from, born in 1790 and wife Mary (Clark) born in 1793 belonged to, but I do know they came from Middleton Co Cork. Their son John Kidney was born in 1821. It seems I am between a "rock and a hard spot" a dead end. Please help.
thank you,
Carole Lynn

Hello,

I don't know if you can help me but i'm looking to find out more about the family of my Great Great Grandfather John Roche who was baptised July 1836 in Midleton Parish, I think his father was a Michael Roche who was a Miller and Meal and Flour Dealer in Main Street Midleton in the 19th Century. (Michael Roche is listed as a Miller on the Midleton Directory for 1875 & 1881, living in Clashduff, Midleton Rural). I believe Michael is buried in Churchtown Cemetry (next to Two Mile Inn bar) with his children Michael who died in 1842 aged 3 years and Catherine and Mary Roche but I don't know their dates of birth. I am looking to find out who was John Roche's mother/Michael Roche's wife. Also if Michael Roche had any siblings, any other children and when Michael died. Any additional information about Michael would be a great help.

Hi, ref your enquiry.  You seem to have the Baptism details for John Roche - where did you acquire this? Was it from Midleton RC Church?   The Records office is closed at present for Easter holiday. Perhaps you can let me know your source of the baptism  then I can take a look when I next visit.
