Birthplace Tiverton was puzzling me as I associate that with Devon but looked up Bath district and there is Twerton.  That could be easily misinterpreted and just to confuse us even more...

...there is an Emma Marchant born Twerton 1829 servant age 22 in the 1851 census along with a Fanny Marchant age 26.

Could this be the same Emma?
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos

hello,
I have looked and it says they are single? so not sure again
If true - what could that mean? she married a relative? or not at all.

Where is William on the other census?
Twerton was a really good spot! There are a few Marchants b in Twerton.

thanks Jane
