My granduncle T F Murphy (Thomas Francis) lived in Poleberry, his ww1 protection paper had him as married, journalist. He died in Cork 1947.
He was a journalist with both the Munster Express (no records) and Cork Examiner (no records)
got married no idea as yet, but between 1911 and 1919.
1901 Census in case relevant: http://tinyurl.com/pxbd8s7 (drapers clerk)
1911 census living at home with his parents: http://tinyurl.com/ncqlzqu (journalist) his dad died 1907

I have been unable to trace him so far in Waterford after 1911

I have whatever Kew had, The cropped image above was from his papers. But no nex-of-kin\will available and no door number. Seemingly there are less details available for Temp officers.

Have you tried the marriage in Mountbellew in 1914 for a Thomas Francis Murphy remembering that his job could take him anywhere and that most marriages took place in brides parish.
Tried that name for Galway on 1911 census 9 pages of Thomas Murphy's but no Thomas Francis.
