   No, I have no connection. However I have just found that a William McFadden married Sarah Graham in Killaig Presbyterian Church, Aghadowey on 1 June 1927. Is this yours?

Yeah, they're my great grandparents! Never really knew much about them cause my grandmother's mother died when she was six and her dad when she was thirteen. Nice to have a date! thanks!

Not all the McFaddens are related to each other- the ones in this thread lived in and around Aghadowey Parish, Co. Londonderry.

Civil registration of births started in 1864- do you know the names of Esther's parents?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Unfortunately I do not know her parents names or anything about them. ???

Still digging to find anything to that sort.

I have a fair bit of my family tree on my mother’s side.

My mother Christine 1950's
Her mother Mary Elizabeth Watton 1934
Her mother Esther Kearney 1909
Her mother Sarah Jane McFall 1887
Her mother Esther McFadden 1863

Lots more information online since the above post. From Esther's marriage certificate with no father listed it's more than likely she was illegitimate and unless you can find a baptism record (if one exists) you might not be able to find details of her parents.
