Could I trouble you further, this time for info on paternal great grandparents:

John Lyall Soutter, Lithographer, possibly born in Edinburgh circa 1870?

Rebecca Jane Mitchell, daughter of Mr. George Mitchell of the General Post Office, Edinburgh.  (She had a sister called Rose and a brother called John). Born between 1870 and 1875.

They were married in Cape Town, South Africa on 8th January, 1895.

This will be the last missing piece in our Ancestry Puzzle.

You have FOUND our family!  Some years ago my cousin Donald Soutter went to Scotland and tried to find out about his family but came away with nothing.

We will be having a family get-together at lunch-time on Saturday and I just know that he and the other cousin will be so excited about the information you have so kindly found for us.
