Help please in finding any information on Francis Stephen ELBORNE born 1887 Islington London and his wife Matilda Florence Sarah ELBORNE nee BRIDLE.
Believe he joined the Army in Canada during WW1.
He married Matilda Florence Sarah BRIDLE 11 Jan 1919 Barnsbury London.
I believe after this they moved back to Canada.

The 1906 census of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta has Francis with his parents and sister in Redvers, Saskatchewan. Hebert Edward ELBORNE brother of Francis married Ada Matilda A BRIDLE in 1904 Edmonton London. They stayed in England.
Ada Matilda BRIDLE was the sister of Matilda Florence BRIDLE  who married Francis ELBORNE.

Wondering if one of Francis and Matilda ELBORNE's children was Doris Ada FORD nee ELBORNE who died on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the age of 93 years.

Matilda arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia on the Adriatic on 4 Aug 1919. She is listed with a group referred to as military dependents. She is on line 18 (listed as M.F.S. Elborne): http://data2.archives.ca/e/e244/e006087024.jpg

Francis was on the same ship but was listed with the returning military personnel. The image is really difficult to read so I didn't bother copying the link.

I think there is a son.
On Francis's death cert in 1958 the informant is his son. Cannot make out the name but he was living at 933 Kennedy Ave North Vancouver.
