Llanllechidd burial
« on: Tuesday 27 May 14 10:21 BST (UK) »
My g-g-g grandfather Henry Roberts was born 1742 in Llanllechidd and died in 1836, buried in Llanllechidd. Does anyone know which graveyard this would be. I only ask because I have found Llanllechid burials in St Ann's graveyard Mynydd Llandygai due to the shifting boundaries in the early 1800s

There are two graveyards in or near Llanllechid. The older one is Gatehouse Calvanistic chapel cemetary North West heading out of the village. The newer one is Coetmor cemetary between Groeslon and the A5.
A bit further afield are the overgrown and abandoned Tanysgafell at the south end of Tregarth and St. Mary's in Tregarth. Also I have come across a couple of Llanllechid residents in the St. Tegai Llandygai village graveyard on the way into Bangor. There is also St. Cedol's, Pentir
I'll find the graveyard names and add to this post ... ok its updated
