'Jonah' Bartlett c.1821

Hi

Please can anyone shed some light on Jonah Bartlett who in 1841 is a 20 yr old Ag.Labourer living with Matthew and Elizabeth Bartlett, both 60, in Church Lane Hardington Mandeville.
I cannot find a birth/baptism or any other mention of him anywhere.

Have you trid this site - just type IAN SAGE into google & when you get to his home page click on parish registers as this contains links to all the free transcriptions for Somerset

Hi Phil,
Thanks for your interest and the Ian Sage site. I will definitely explore that in more detail shortly but having already tried Free reg and other Somerset sites without any clues to Jonah other than the 1841 I'm wondering if the name is misspelt or wrong altogether.

There are a number of trees on Ancestry - none of them have anything other than the 1841 census!!

Thank you, I totally agree with you. It's odd as I have the birth/baptisms, lives etc.,of all the other children in that family but nothing found on a Jonah.

Oh! well, if it was too easy it wouldn't be so interesting I guess.
