Hi
Can someone please help locate John Meredith on the 1851 census from the 1861 details listed below.  I believe John Meredith was born 1823 in Stoke Edith and he married Hannah Knight of Birtsmorton, Worcestershire in 1840.  I have located him on the 1861 but failed to find him on the 1851.  Appreciate any help.

Possibly
HO107 2486 267 8

At least,  there is a wife called Hannah (older than him) and a son Sidney - so some things in common!
And living in Cardigan, where next child was born according to 1861
And born Herefordshire ......

Actually looking quite good, on reflection

DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Hello
Thanks for the details, although slight differences in ages etc it does seem very probable that this is the family.  Could I ask if it is possible you could follow them through the later census.
Kind Regards, Roy

I have been following this thread with interest, you most likely know this but just in case, the
Trefolwern on the original post looks to be Tafolwern nr. llanbrynmair, on the machynelleth to newtown railway, this did not open till 1863, so he was likely working on the construction of it.
