i am also loooking for any information on annie forsyth born 1899/1900 also at leanaig farm to a john forsyth and a catherine cameron (nee) mckenzie

Annie was b. May 15th 1900 at Leanaig, daughter of John Forsyth, ploughman and Catherine Cameron or McKenzie. She was the widow of Alexander Cameron, farmer, who d. 6th March 1899. Parents were not married but both registered the birth; Catherine signing her name and John his mark.

Catherine Cameron 1863   Cawdor Nairnshire  retired Farmer
Murdo Cameron 1892         Urquhart
Catherine A Cameron 1895  do  
Alexander Cameron 1897     do
Annie Forsyth  b1900            do

yes that is the family

catherine cameron 1863 died 1933 while living at leanaig
murdo cameron 1892  died 1933 while living at leanaig (22 days before his wife, not a good year for the camerons)
catherine a married and emigrated to canada
alexander married and died in fort william in 1970
annie forsyth just disappeared off the face of the earth

Catherine Cameron nee Mackenzie did not die at leanaig as I have her death certificate,she died at
woodlands farm near dingwall back road of evanton.as grannie showed me the farm cottage they lived in,dont think its there now.grannie dad lived up the road from them.that;s the road grannie step-mother got knocked down in.
