Cornelius Connor County Kerry Parish Templenoe Townland Lacka - Griffiths Val.

Hi,
Any help me please.
Trying to find out what Trade above had, he is shown in Griffiths Valuation List and i have found a Cornelius Conner on the R.C. Church List as married to Mary Sullivan and having various children between 1832 and 1851. [Mary 1832, Dermot 1836, Bridget 1841, Johanna 1843, Cornelius 1844, John 1847, Daniel 1849 and Richard 1851].
Does any one have this person in their family tree and can tell me if he was a Stone 'Mason'.
Would appreciate any help.

just looked at a copy of the valuation record but no mention of occupation for cornelius , would this be what you,ve seen as well ?.

Hi t mo,
Yes i have seen the Valuation, also been in contact with Archarvist at Kerry Library who
tells me that information not available, so was hoping someone might have this family in
their Tree and know what Cornelius Connor's occupation was? as trying to tie this family
into my wife's Tree.

no doubt you have as well but just looked in roots Ireland  site and Kerry is one of them not digitised yet , I,m thinking that your post would be better off on the irish board where you should find folk with more knowledge .

If Cornelius died after registration of deaths (started in 1864) then his death certificate should list an occupation. Also, any children married after registration? (residence at time of marriage as well as father's name & occupation will be listed)

His last child born 1851 so i have to go for his death certificate if i can track that done.
