Hes on here -looks like he could have been absorbed into 17th batt Royal Scots

1762 Yeomanry Number and 270764 his RS 17th Battalion number - went overseas post 1915 as no Star awarded

Has a Wound stripe too so maybe on casualty reports somewhere they were introduced August 1916

1st Battalion KOYLI  deployed to Kenya in 1954 As part of Mau Mau emergency

That could be a Royal Armoured Corps shoulder title which would fit in with "Tanks"
