Thank you for all the information you've given. A bell has rung in my head - somewhere along the way that surname Shank  . . . came up, and I made a note to look further (and forgot). I wasn't sure whether it was a first husband/maiden name or just an unrelated family. I'm going to print out all this thread and go through the information I'd put aside.
