Rhys Roberts and Mary Jones married at Dwygyfylchi parish church on the 27th of December, 1873. Rhys was aged 20 and Mary 27. They both lived at Penmaenan and Rhys was a Quarryman. Rhys was the son of Richard Roberts, a Mason, and Mary was the daughter of John Jones, a Quarryman. Both signed the register by mark.

Google maps says just over 19 miles (26minutes) from Caernarfon to Dwygyfylchi and 10 miles (17 minutes) Llandudno to Dwygyfylchi.

I think you may find it busy as it is the UK school holidays in August and you are looking to stay in places by the sea, which are popular in summer. (that's my theory anyway  ;))
