St Luke Dublin (The Coombs)
« on: Wednesday 30 July 14 16:48 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace a family  for my son in law, His father was born Dublin 1913/14 he was Thomas Patrick Doyle but his date of birth is confused the only one registered according to the Office of the Registar General was the son of Thomas Doyle and Josephine Faulkner. This fits with  Thomas Patrick's RAF records when he shows Thomas Doyle as his father and next of Kin. Other information we have is that he had a brother John who lived in Birmingham and a sister who was a nurse and went to Canada, he also mentioned St Luke's.
Details that I have obtained show that Thomas Doyle and Josephine Faulkner married 3 Sep 1911
they had the following children Parrick Doyle born 16 Oct 1912
Thomas Patrick born 8 Mar 1914
John Doyle born 27 Jan 1916
James Doyle born 18 Jul 1917
Christopher Doyle born 17 Jun 1919
Bridget Doyle born 28 Aug 1921

Two requests
1 Is anyone researching this family or have any contact with them?
2 Are the PRs for St Luke for this time period available?
Any help appreciated

Tony
According to this list the parish registers for St Luke' Church of Ireland Parish are available up to 1974 at the Representative Church Body (Anglican) Library in Churchtown Dublin. The library wont do a search but personal research is possible.

Hi Annclare
Thank you very much for the information. It looks as though I shall have to get someone to visit and see if the family appear in the records.
