hi everyone , i don,t know if this is the right place for 1200, however ., from f/s a.w.s. + others, rhys ap hywell ,b, 1200 brecon = katherine verch gruffyd / griffith, dafydd / ddinaw? ap rhys, b, 1226 aberllyfni = gwenllian verch hywel, einion ap dafydd, b, 1255? = one of ye heirs of cradoc , mathew ap rhys, b, 1386?, = dau of rednal , john rice , b, 1420 = co-heir miss wanton , issac apreese, b, 1440 = joan bray 1460 ., others here maybe, yan ryse, b, 1446, bures suffolk , joan ryse, b, 1450, bures = thomas richard milton, thomas ryse, b, 1500 bures . as the dates are a bit off ? , any help, thought,s, ideas please .    thanks alan.

Yes, and if Einion ap Dafydd was born in 1300, his parents were both 70 years old too!  ;D

The best thing is to consult the Pedigree books at the National Library of Wales:

hi morganllan, its been a while, + after some digging + sifting, from the above refs, looks like, there maybe, a line of rhys, that started at aberllynfi brecon, ( arms, 3 spearheads argent ) ., to be brief, looks like the line , comes down , through, caradog friech fras 475,bleddyn ap mearnarch 1040, rhys ap hywell 1210, einion sais 1230, rhys ap einion sais 1268, adam ap rhys 1292, rhys lloyd ap adam 1311, ieuan ap rhys lloyd 1345, adam ap ieuan rhys lloyd 1365 = stradling, rhys ap adam 1389,( alias mathew rhys ) = 1 cradoc , 2 redman , juon rhys 1420 = elizabeth de wauton , issac rhys 1442 = joan bray ,           thanks alan .

hi,morganllan, to round up + conclude., looks like, john+elizabeth wauton, had 4 children, issac, ivan (a.k.a.yan rees ) , joan + thomas., issac = 1 joan bray, son robert, b, 1462  + 1 joan le strange , = 2 miss strangman.,  issac + 2, elizabeth waldegrave (nee frey ), son,robert, b,1472 = joan otter, washingley hunts., looks like , ivan (yan) , lived, bures st mary, son john, at, walsham-le-willows, many american desendants there. - the line from joan-le-strange, poss, has some 64 gf,s , others have more .            thanks alan .   completed
