Walker family, Whitburn

starting to look at my mother's side of the family tree but have very little info.
Her parents lived at Redmill Cottages, Whitburn and my grandfather Robert Walker, born C1900 was a mining engineer.
My granny, Wilhelmina ms Roonie (rooney?)
2 daughters, Janet (Janette)b 1937 and Margaret b 1942

That's about all I know

Hello Mrs A,

Had a quick look at the marriage cert. Robert's parents given as Robert Walker, farmer, and Jane McNeil.
There is a burial plot for Robert and Jane in Bathgate Cemetery.
I have sent you a private message re who is in the lair.

Hello Mrs A,

Marriage cert says residence of W. Rooney was Millerhill, Newton. Her parents, William Rooney and Janet Smith are in Newton Kirkyard.

William Rooney, died 6 January 1954, aged 74
Janet Smith died 17 November 1966 aged 84

There are also
Patrick Rooney died 29 Dec 1981, age 72,
Jean Stewart, died 19 June 1991, age 77

There is a seat 
Gifted by Agnes Rooney in memory of her spouse John,  died 1 Dec 1976

No other Rooneys with headstones. It's a small cemetery so not difficult to walk around.
