« on: Friday 04 February 11 20:08 GMT (UK) »
I have MI`s for Holy Trinity Bronington and will do lookups , please give as much detail as possible.

These were done fairly recently so very old gravestones may have been removed.

They are memorial inscriptions. What is written on a headstone.

Hi are you still able to do MI lookups for Holy Trinity Bronington?
If so, i am desperately trying to locate William DOWNWARD, probably died after 1851 since he appears on the 1851 census but not on 1861. He was born around 1786 although there are three others of the same name born between 1790 and 1795 all apparently in Hanmer Parish. (Thus my desperation !!). His Wife Mary DOWNWARD' s burial appears appears on the familysearch website at Bronington on 28 Jul 1856.
Hope you can help

I have the book to hand , but there is only one Downward.
Of course these are only gravestones MI`s , he may be buried there but no headstone .

"Treasured Memories of a dear Father and Grandfather.
Joseph Stanley Downward who passed away 21st February 1995 aged 76 years.

There are a few Downward wills on here , but they are quite early  and only go up to 1858.
You might find some clues.

Don`t bother with any dates or parishes, there are only 9.

Ah, well, worth a try, On a hunch, I've just tried searching all the "William"s who died in flintshire between 1851 and 1861 (there are lots !!) and lo and behold I found a William DOUNWARD who died in 1861(Great), then I found two more with the same name misspelling who died at around the same time (not so great) - . Anyway, thanks for the help. I'll try the wills to see if there are any clues there.
