That would be the right age and gives a connection with London. I have found a George Paul Mackenzie making a lot of trips from England to Spain and Portugal from 1916 to 1928. In the earlier records he lives in Wimbledon, but later moves to Forest Hill, which I think is in Lewisham district.

My George was an Iron Merchant in 1901 and in 1911 a Manager for a shipping agent.
The George P I found in Wales in 1891 was a clerk to a shipbroker.
The occupations for the travelling George Paul do seem to have a connection with the occupations of my George, so might be the same one.
