Hello, I was wondering if there was anyone who knew of anyone or organizations that know about Hillhead cottage that is located in Tarland,I have ancesters that lived there til at least 1938,the surname of the family that lived there is Peters. Any help would be greatly received.

Can you be a bit less vague? What sort of thing do you want to know?

Its post code is AB34 4TJ. You can use this on, for example, www.streetmap.org.uk to see roughly where it is. The fact that it has a post code suggests that it is still inhabited.

Or you could look at http://www.geograph.org.uk/gridref/NJ5006 which will show you exactly where it is, and what the surroundings look like.

Or you could go to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and look it up (for a modest fee) in the valuation rolls to see who was the householder when.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
