Marriage of David Davies & Elinor - Llandyssul around 1815
« on: Sunday 16 June 13 12:05 BST (UK) »
I am researching a Davies family (there are one or two!) and in particular the parents of  David (1816) & Mary (1818) Davies, who were both christened in "Peniel Wesleyan, Llandyssul" with parents given as David Davies & Elinor.  Can anyone help me verify the marriage of David & Elinor?

I too am researching the family of David Davies b 1816 who went onto marry a lady named Anne, no other details available. I have no idea who David' parents were or whether he had any siblings as I have only just found him this week.

What I do know is this David Davies was a Master Shoemaker at Troedyraur, Ffostrasol and he had at least one child, James, b 1862 who was a carpenter/builder. James married Elinor Thomas in 1884, the event being registered at Newcastle Emlyn (11b/37). They had 8 children the names of all I have.

I hope, if this is the same David Davies, we can share information.

Regards, David
