Earliest person mentioned in a UK BMD certificate
« on: Sunday 26 October 14 09:39 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I have an great great great great great uncle, born 1770, who married a 22 year old in 1847 (aged 77). What I thought was interesting was that his father, Edward, is of course listed on the 1847 marriage certificate, and he was born in 1716.

It got me thinking, I wonder who the earliest born person mentioned in a BMD certificate is. This is certainly the earliest I can find, I suppose it might even be possible to find someone born in the 1600's mentioned on a certificate, who knows!?
