Thomas Steenson/Stinson Fermanagh or Monaghan
« on: Tuesday 15 July 14 20:18 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for any information about a Thomas Stinson who married an Ellen Hall in Drum, Currin in 1870.  According to his daughter's marriage record he was alive in 1906 as was his wife.  I've been searching for his death and any help would be appreciated on this family.

Thanks
Anne

The civil records on irishgenealogy.ie record the death of a Thomas Stinson aged 71 in the third quarter of 1910.  It is recorded at Clones in volume 3 page 67.

Glensman, many thanks.  I thought I would find this on the NI Direct site but no luck. [just realised that Co Monaghan is the Republic and not NI] I think it may be on another genie site too FindMyPast I think.  Hallmark, their marriage was Presbytarian and have no clue where they were living as their daughter's  Scottish marriage record doesn't yield that type of info.....As I've posted on the Fermanagh board I think this is where he may have died.  His marriage was in Co Monaghan.

Just seen the link.for the census...yes I've got this but not sure if it's them as they're quite old to be the two girls parents ( the mother would have been 56 giving birth to the youngest0 and their religion is different....perhaps a mistranscription!

Thanks
