Streatham Park Cemetery
« on: Saturday 16 August 14 17:38 BST (UK) »
Can any one help with looking for a headstone in this cemetery. I can email the plan if that helps.
The grave is number 30767 and it's in square 21A(2). It seems to be close to the Liberal Jewish section. I am looking for my husbands aunt, who committed suicide on the 18/7/1934, buried on the 23/7/1934. Her name was Marie Patricia Heffernan age 23. We are hoping there will be a headstone and would love to have any information from it.
Thanks very much, Janet

Added to my to-do list, but no promises when. I have a map. The cemetery is well kept so she shouldn't be too hard to find.
Researching Penge, Anerley, (incuding the Crystal Palace) and neighbouring parts of Beckenham, currently in London (Bromley), formerly Surrey and/or Kent.

Thanks so much greatly appreciated as I live down in Dorset. No rush, just intrigued if there is a headstone and what it says.

Hi Janet

Have you contacted the cemetery office to see if their records show if a headstone is on the grave?

Thanks again Chris, no need to bother as I have rung them and there is no headstone.
