I have been trying to find some more information with regards. To my great great grandfather Michael Corcoran. The information I have is that he was born in Drumkeerin Co Leith in 1838. He had five children the first two from his first wife Ada both children were born in Ireland.

Welcome to Rootschat. I think you mean the Drumkeerin in Co. Leitrim so I'm going to move your topic to that county board.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hello Colin - welcome from me too.  :)

It's best to say what information you already have and what you know.

Do you have his marriage details - 1st or 2nd which may include his father's name.
Do you have the birth certificates of the Irish born children?

Where do you have him in England? (presuming that is where he settled).I think I have found your family but not sure - what he at Maidstone Barracks?

regards
heywood
