I have JOHN BOYD married to ELIZABETH (born about 1861 RUSHBURY Shropshire) children include Martha MAY Boyd, James, Ethel, Edith, Agnes, Alexander, Lucy and Henry.

I'm only an "in law" really - Robinia Elizabeth was my husband's grandmother. 

I don't have your May as the first child though - Robenia was born in 1886, James in 1888 and Martha May in 1890.  These children were born in London.

The remaining children were born in Shropshire.  This is where John Boyd was living at the time of the 1911 census

hi i am new to this going throew som old posts see some members mentioned my grand father john boyd born kirkcudbrightshire scotland i also saw my fathers name mentioned he was his youngest child henry malcolm born oct 16 1904 bridge north shropshire i know this is a long shot as the posts go back to 09 but wondered if any member is still researching the family they were a family of nine children so looks like i have lots of long lost cousins etc

further to my previous post a lot of the family my father included settled in manchester edith ethel may agnes and my father henry malcolm left shropshire and settled in manchester thegirls all went into service my grandmother elizabeth came to live in manchester with my father  it would be wonderful to hear from any relatives my father sadly passed away age 91 in 1995 i believe there are still boyds in shropshire
