I also had relatives living in Clyde Street , Anderston on the 1881 census, but then by the 1891 census they were in Yorkhill Street, Anderston.

I also have a few who married in St.Patrick's .

I myself was baptized at St.Patrick's and took my first holy communion there in the 1940's, still have the photo of me standing in the grounds of the chapel .
Long time ago now but some happy memories of living in Anderston.

Hi,
Thank you all for this information, its very helpful to me.  I also had McDonald's living at 69 Clyde Street in 1911, I was getting frustrated because I couldn't find it.  In 1881 they were living at 99 Stobcross Street, then 238 Stobcross Street in 1905.
The maps are very helpful.

MacDonald - Fort William, Port Glasgow & Glasgow (Scotland): Casterton & Strathdownie (Australia).
Small - Port Glasgow, Scotland.
