Looking for lost Aunt in Jamaica
« on: Monday 30 June 14 20:43 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone,

I am looking to find any information about a long lost aunt that is still missing from my family tree. She was my dad's sister and she immigrated to Jamaica to get married to a Jamaican gentleman sometime in the late forties (maybe 1947/48).

I would like to find out marriage and possible burial information and any address which would help me get more detailed information concerning children etc as well as a death certificate with cause of death as this also remains a mystery.

Her name was Rosemary B. Pauline Passmore and was normally called Betty so that maybe what the 'B' stands for. Any help would truly be gratefully received.

Thank you,
Nick Passmore

A bit of googling suggests Pauline's granddaughter still lives in Ohio, luckily an unusual name.

Hello everyone (jaywit, craclin,JJen) and thank you all so much for all the help and information. I can now begin to check this with any surviving relatives to see if anything rings a bell there. There could be coincidences but I always check every angle as this does sound like it could be coming together. I'll get back to you when I find out further. Once again thank you very much for your time.

Nick
