;D  I am completely blown away with all of the information that you all have found on my behalf.
In England, our last census which is available to the public to view is the 1911 census & I didn't know what had become of the family after that date. All that I knew was that Joseph & Harriet Emily's daughter Emma had eventually married & lived in Canada but I had no idea that Joseph & Harriet Emily & all of their Holroyd offspring had emigrated there too. It's fantastic to have learned so much. Thank you all very much,
Jan.

Hi Jan

Pleased we could all help. Dbreeze has helped out with the obits which is great.  ;D  The last census in Canada is 1921 so we rely on Canada Voters List, newspapers etc to try and get further.
I have asked RunKitty to cast her beady eye over the thread, it might be possible to find more obits, you never know. (fingers crossed)

Regards
Sandra

Hi,

No luck, I am afraid.  :'( :'( I was only able to find the 2 obits that dbreeze found in the Globe.  I don't have access to the earlier editions of the Waterloo papers.  Perhaps the Waterloo library or OGS could do a search or two.  Luckily, you have some dates to work with.

Many thanks for trying to seek out any obits, it's much appreciated.
I shall do as you suggested & make contact with the Waterloo library to ask if you might be able to help me.
Thanks again,
Jan.
