Hi Shalunts

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

Why don't you post the details and info you have for the family you are researching so that people can try to help with what you are looking for?

thanks Monica

well i'm Shalunts and not Shalunt.. :) with "s" at the end.. I accidentally found your site and this topic.. i know history of my own family very well, i have a family tree list coming from 1700th years and i have never heard there's such an almost the same surname somewhere in Scotland, because i'm from Armenia, from city named Goris.. so i'm just interested to know anything about "Shalunt" family though i don't think there is a relationship between this two family, but who knows.. there are a lot of armenians in all over the world and maybe someone of my ancestors decided to journey somewhere and he chose for this the Scotland. would really appreciate any information.

Ahhh...I think there may be some confusion here  ;)

This post started by mcleodsyme is regarding the place name of Shalunt in Bute, not the surname or a family with that surname.
