Land Army WW2
« on: Tuesday 11 March 14 17:31 GMT (UK) »
My mother served in the Land Army and was based for 18 months in Berwick. Does anyone know if there are any archives related to this period and area. I have seen that there are some counties that have books relating to that period. Has Sussex got one?

Thanks for that. I looked at it. I was hoping that like some other counties there may be a book specific to East Sussex and the Land Army girls.

Have you asked East Sussex record Office?    They will know.
