Date for Australian photo please

Would like a date for this photo found in grandparents' album please.  A likely date may
help to identify the 2 young men.  Does anyone think they may be brothers?

The dress styles could be anytime from around 1912- early 20's.
The wide border narrows it to post WW1 - early 20's.
The stamp box confirms it to around 1918-22.

It looks very odd - it may be the scan or just how it looks on my monitor, but odd that the two men are so dressed up with such a ratty looking background - perhaps they were just on their way out. Also they look a bit 'superimposed' - and there appear to be lines around the men as though they had been cut out of another photo especially around the head and shoulders - possibly an early photoshopped photo.  :)

PS. I think they have a similar look to them so possibly brothers - they're both a bit good looking.  ;)

 I am going to go against popular consensus and say I can see no similarity between these 2 boys at all.
Hairline, nose, ears, eyes, eyebrows and mouth are all different.

Thankyou Joe, Jim, Ruskie and Leanne for your comments.  Jim, your dating of 1918-22
removes any likely contenders that I know of.  The 2 I had in mind were only born in 1913
and 1914.  Will keep looking.

What you are seeing is the result of over sharpening of the photo at the scanning stage Ruskie....which often gives that halo effect.
