Robert E Lloyd b.1895 Wacton, Norfolk

Please can someone help me to find out what happened to Robert E Lloyd. He is listed in the 1901 Census (RG13-1862-128-7) living with his father, mother and 2 siblings in Tharston, a village next to Wacton.

His father and his siblings are still listed in the 1911 Census (RG14-PN11462-RD230-SD3-ED8-SN99) as living in Tharston.

In 1906, Robert was involved in an accidental shooting of his mother so wonder if he was 'accommodated' elsewhere but can find no record of it.

Is there a newspaper report of the 1906 incident?  Was he in prison, perhaps, and possibly just listed by his initials?

Was he born Robert E L Aldridge? I can see a birth reg for him in Depwade 1895 but no birth reg for a Robert Lloyd.
There is a marriage in Depwade 1900 for a Christopher Henry Lloyd and same page Harriet Aldridge.
I see his parents were Christopher and Harriet from the census.
There are army service records for a Robert Edward Lloyd Aldridge born 1894 resident in Glamorganshire (no pob given) modified ..see next post.
His nok mentioned before his wife was  Frederick Lloyd , uncle, Suffolk.

All it takes is a fresh pair of eyes on a problem!  Brilliant!  I've had a look at the military record and it must be the same person.  Also his mother was Harriet Aldridge and she and Christopher Lloyd married in 1900 after Robert's birth.  I can move forward from here.
