Help with children of Peter Cairnie & Isabella Reid - Dalkeith 1911 - 1925

Hello, can anyone help with a look up please.  I'm trying to track any children of Peter Cairnie and Isabella McKenzie Reid between 1911 and 1925 in Dalkeith. 

Peter & Isabella married in Dalkeith on 5th July 1912.  They had a daughter Jean Haldane Reid Cairnie in Dalkeith 10 March 1925 (died 16 Feb 1996) but it seems a long time between marriage in 1912 and a first child in 1925.  Appreciate WW1 intervened, and am aware Peter fought with the ANZAC forces at Gallipoli, when he signed up on arrival in Oz in 1914, but that still leaves a big gap. 

One potential birth in Dalkeith is Robert McGill Cairnie born 1912 (Gros Data 683/00 0186) died Dalkeith 1918 (Gros Data 683/00 0012), but am unable to access parent details at SP on-line.

Would appreciate any help and assistance anyone can offer, thank you

Unfortunately you won't be able to access the births for these dates unless you visit Register House in Edinburgh  or any Library that has a Scotlands People search room ..Do you have a death for Peter or Isabella as maybe some of their family signed death certificate ...

The 1918 death will be available to view on Scotlandspeople and also the 1912 birth

Sancti, thanks, yes I've looked on-line. The birth record detail doesn't provide the parents name and the death record detail hasn't got the mothers name, and it is a long shot that it is even a birth related to  Peter / Isabella.  The only other option will be to purchase certificates, and the last few have taken nearly 4 weeks to arrive.... and not being sure they are related makes this an expensive option each time.  Being South of the border makes getting to SP Edinburgh complicated (+ expensive)......

Rosey17, thanks for the information, getting to SP centre not currently an option though.  Yes, I did get both the death certs for Peter & Isabella, but these do not provide any new leads.

Sancti, sorry, losing my marbles......totally missed the 'Image' option, was too focused on the 'Order image' option - which as you say has provided the details.  This shows the birth was not related to Peter / Isabella, so am now back to square one........ 
Will now need a check of the SP index's for potential births, as on-line there are no indices containing parents names to births.......only available at SP offices.......why? (rhetorical!!)
