I am looking for details of the birth of my wife's father - william crutchley who was born on the isle of man in about 1919 .

please note this M/B has not been operational for over 5 years - the M/B is http://www.isle-of-man.com/genealogy/messageboard/index.pl
however dataprotection rules normally come into play as theorectically could be alive - there is a burial index at www.iomfhs.im
If you do buy a certificate make sure you have an accurate birth date
However the name is not Manx , no crutchley burials I can see, no Crutchley in for example the 1881 census and I have no record of name in any of my extensuve databases
any thing with a Manx Connection
