Hi I am new this site. I am searching for Eliza Gordon, nee White parents names, Not sure if and where I can purchase a death certificate and what information I will get with it.
Eliza Gordon nee White b 1838 Milltown, d 1.11.1877 Strabane, Buried Leckpatrick  old Presbyterian Church with daughter Martha Isabella Porter Gordon. I believe a headstone is still there.
From her marriage certificate 21 July 1864, Leckpatrick Church parents Thomas White a farmer , mother Donnell. Eliza married Samuel Gordon, father Peter Gordon.
Eliza siblings are Thomas b1824 Mansfield Bloomfield White b1835 Rebecca White b1837 James Porter White b 1842 and William white b 1845 all born Milltown.
William White and family(susan rankin and children) are buried in the same graveyard. I have James Porter White death as 5 April 1916 age 74 volume 2 page 225 registered in Strabane.

Can anyone help me find out her parents names ?? Thanks, Jodie

Hi,
   I cannot find the parents names but a little extra information.
1873 James Porter White married Isabella Weir in Donagheady First Presbyterian Church, Strabane
1859 Mansfield White married Mary Ann Nickle in Leckpatrick Presbyterian Church, Strabane.

I am very interested in the information I found on your website regarding Peter Gordon of Ballee & William Gordon of Ballyskeagh.
Do you know the names of Peter Gordon and Mary Boake's five children? What information do you have regarding Peter Gordon from Strabane. I have traced my ancestors from Samuel Gordon b 1843 Strabane died in Sydney 1890 m Eliza White b 1842 Strabane d 1877 buried In Parish of Leckpatrick. Through family stories Samuel had a small farm that was not ging to well , then a Grocery store in Main St Strabane, notice from daughter Martha Isabella death confirms address. Samuel remarried Elizabeth Ann Bradley  28 Feb 1878 then immigrated to Sydney March 1878, with his four children.
Samuel Gordon's parents were Peter Gordon d before Samuel was born c1843 m Elizabeth Boggs.They had another son William Gordon abt 1840. Peter Gordon's parents were;
Peter Gordon m Isabella Unknown surname
