Buttevant burials
« on: Wednesday 16 July 14 14:19 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the burial place of an Owen Russell who died on 6th March 1894 at Knockburry? Buttevant. He was 64. I am keen to find if his wife Mary was buried with him,or any other family member. There are a number of possible Mary Russell deaths that could be her,she was still alive when he died.

Many thanks

Carol

Hello  Carol

I walked through  the  grave yard  in Butttevant town  yesterday  and   couldnt  see any name  russell on a head stone   . There was alot of old headstones there   that  you could not read the  inscriptions on them  but  there was stones  dating  back to 1894. I  would  say   contact the parish priest
