Looking for parents of Helen Mackie born c. 1765 Eddelstone, Peebles, married John Ingles of Galashiels on  July 10, 1785 in Cockpen, Midlothian, Scotland.

                 I saw that you have not had a reply to your question, are you sure she was born at Eddelstone ?, I have a Helen Mackie born at Temple in 1761 parents John Mackie and Marrion Traquair.

Found a record for a Helen Mackie born  Midlothian-- Source film 1067991 Index 11700 VR born 1761 to John Mackie and Marion Traquair

Birth date given was August 30,1761 but have not actually seen a copy.
