Mary Elizabeth O'Connor (also down as Mary Teresa O'Connor)

born 8th June 1915 Dublin

Older brother Peter Joseph O'Connor

born 28 February 1913 Dublin

Younger brother Simon Patrick O'Connor

born 9th March 1919 (address unreadable but it's NOT Dublin.

Simon senior appears to have gone to England for a while in late 1910's !

Just to note !

Simon's ages vary from the Irish Census to the military records.

So

Use a 5 - 10 year variable when doing searches for him.

Simon Snr (my grandfather) was born in Liverpool 1886/7and then returned to Ireland we know not when.....where he seems to have spent most of his life in and out of prison from your findings...then married granny Mary Ellen Mullen in-between prison....just trying to find via '81 and '91 census possibilities why born Liverpool? I have emailed St. Kevin's as suggested and await their reply. We were aware of his army record and realised he was also living through that period of time which was a great upheaval to all during 1918 - 1922 etc...
Thanks
Sean

We know now for definite (cross fingers) from Simon Snr's  Army Record, that he, Simon O'Connor was married to Mary Ellen Mullen in St. Kevin's Church Dublin on 13 November 1912. Can anyone who lives near the National Library Kildare Street, view the record on micro-film (which we were told is free of charge to view), and let me have all the written details?

Thank you
Sean

Peter Mullen possibly a son of Peter Mullen and Ellen Gilchrist
So Mary Mullen wife of George Carroll is probably Peters sister.
