1841/1851 cencus Edinburgh
« on: Sunday 27 July 14 14:44 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I have come back to trying to trace my family history after a break and a 'brick wall'.  I am trying to identify family members of a Samuel Gillies(Gilles)  born about 1795 and married to Elizabeth. I have an idea that they resided in the area of St Cuthberts in Edinburgh. I am trying to prove that he was my GG grand father. Can anybody find the family in the 1841 and 1851 cencus please. I know of a son William that moved to Wales and appears there in 1851.

Thank you
