You may find this useful ...

https://familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3Aisaac~%20%2Bsurname%3Aclulee~%20%2Brecord_country%3AEngland%20%2Bbirth_place%3A%22kings%20norton%22~

Added:
Google "Isaac Clulee" - appears he was Registrar at Kings Norton and also a builder ... there's several pieces of information.

Even more added:
Look on FreeCEN and possible Clulee family is listed in 1861.  Isaac with wife Elizabeth and six children listed - James F; Mary Ann; Charles; George; Clara and Walter.  All living at Kings Norton Village.

Running an eye down through FreeBMD I can see possible marriages for several of the children - it is very easy to work from this website.

FreeBMD has this death registration:
Deaths Mar 1882
CLULEE Isaac - Age 72 - Kings Norton - Vol 6c - Page 246

No sign of birth and / or marriage on FreeBMD
Eccles (Hoylake / Exeter / Plymouth)
Hicks (Devonport, Plymouth)
Grafton (Exeter, Devon)
Harris (Marazion, Cornwall)
Collard (Yeovil, Somerset)
Johns (Devonport, Plymouth)
Lyle (Bude, Cornwall)

Welcome to RootsChat! ;D

Various Trade Directories of the Midlands from 1840s-1870s mention:
Cluleee, Isaac  registrar of births, marriages & deaths for the Kings Norton district.

Just spotted Priscilla's update! Snap!

FreeBMD only covers Civil Registration, from 1st July 1837 - so his birth, and probably his marriage, won't be there.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

chunkycheese says he/she's looking for decendents, not ancestors.

Generally speaking, we're here to help people find ancestors.  Finding decendents is difficult for us as we're not allowed to post the names of anyone who might still be living.

There are a number of trees on Ancestry that have him on with various spellings of his surname.  Might they be the best place for you to start?

Always looking for GOODWINS in Berkshire :)

Hi thank you to all who replied.

Isaac CLULEE was married in Yardley, I know that he did build two churches to date and had 9 children. My typo perhaps: looking for other ancestors or descendants - other individuals who have found him on their trees and may have more information about him and his descendants. Not all the Clulee's did not stay in Kings Norton and moved to 5 other continents that i know of. When he died the registration was taken over by his son-in-law Josiah HANDS.

The new spelling of the surname was intiated by him so he was not born with this spelling although phonetically it is correct. It changed when he augmented the registration of birth deaths and marriages in the parish of Kings Norton. But I cannot be the only living rellie....

Chunkychhese,

I know a couple of Clulee brothers who believe they are direct descendants of Isaac and have obtained permission to pass their e-mail addresses on to you.

As others have said, we are unable to post details of living people here but if you post just one more message to this thread I can then send you a personal message containing the details you want.

Regards,

Keith
