James Skeen Davidson missing in 1871

In 1851 James Skeen Davidson  b 25.9.1823  is a house carpenter living in Tweedmouth Berwick upon Tweed aged 18 years old in 1861 aged 28 still a carpenter .  His parents are James Davidson and Isabella .There seems to be a gap in the records for James Skeen Davidson between 1861 and 1891  as he appears again in 1901  aged 58 as a rope maker living with his wife Jean
Any help please in finding him

Hi again in 1871 he is with Isabella 64 Robert 21 James 40 Married Lucy 32 Married Robert 2 Catherine 2 at Castlegate, Berwick

In 1881 he seems to be at 6 and 8 Kiln Hill, Tweedmouth, 48, Rope Maker employing 3 men and 4 boys.

His first wife is Ann Turner she died in 1877
They only had one daughter Elizabeth

Yes Excel I have him in 1881 with his second wife Jean Sample
Just found him in 1881 after I had posted this thread
Isabella his mother is born in 1802 not sure about this one they always lived at Kiln Hill Tweedmouth them living in Castle Gate Berwick

also below him is daughter Elizabeth Lord
also shown is their son William P Lord
His name is William Skeen Lord
