Bernard Collins, Dundalk, Louth
« on: Thursday 11 December 14 21:42 GMT (UK) »
My great-great-grandmother, Susan Collins (although known as Julia), was born circa 1836 in Dundalk, Louth to father Bernard Collins who I believe was a labourer.  I’m trying to find out when Bernard was born and died; also when and whom he married.   Does anyone have any information about Bernard?

Thanks!
Foffie

I emailed the library in Dundalk who hold a database of RC baptisms, marriages etc. They will provide a printout for a fee. They were very helpful for my Murtha/Murtaugh forefathers from around that time.
Thomas, Davies, Jones, Walters, Daniel in Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. That should narrow it down a bit!
Vincent: Fressingfield, Suffolk, Stockton & Sunderland.
Murtha/Murtaugh: Dundalk & Sunderland
Ingram: Cairnie by Huntly, Scotland then Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.
Bardouleau: London - in memory of my stepmother Annie Rose née Bardouleau who put up with a lot from me.
