Hello Irishseeker,
     Thanks loobylooayr & Forfarian. Although you won't be able to view Marriage Certificate (privacy reasons) if you enter their details & find a match then click on 'View' button for 1 Credit you will bring up the Index which will give you not only both names, year & place of marriage but also gros data number. (Sorry if you know that already. I'm assuming you are fairly new to Scotlandspeople)

Thanks to all of you, I am very grateful for the finding. I live on the Mainland of New Zealand, and spend most of my time researching family. I am retired so have all the time,and mostly have quiet success, but oh it can be sooo frustrating. The strange thing is that I work with SP regularly, hit a wall, as above, and yet you folk get a result, just like that. How is this? ???
