Not on burial grounds, but for nonconformist registers, a useful new website is bmdregisters.co.uk. It has indexed a lot of different chapel baptism and burial records from earlier centuries through to 1837 (and a few beyond). Some of the information is really useful as the baptism records can give the names of the maternal grandparents as well as the father. It is relatively expensive to use but if you get a "hit" it seems worthwhile. Basic searches are free.

Hello Derek & All

Many of my forebears were buried at Bunhill Fields - very exciting to find.

However, very early on in my research I was given this information on Bridget Jordan :-

April 1831 - City of London burials MEOT - Ref. 7497

Possible I suppose that she may have been buried at Globe Fields ( which I had not heard of before) as she is not with others at Bunhill.

Would anyone know what the Ref. No. means and where I might go from here.

Many thanks.....
