Robert Whines missing years

Hi, not sure if anyone can help but I'm quite new to this and going round in circles!

I've traced back to Robert Whines born 1843 in Loddon, Norfolk, died 1915 Islington, London
I'm pretty sure his parents are Robert Whines born abt 1811 in Heckingham, Norfolk
& Charlotte Gowen born 1813 in Mundham, Norfolk
They married in 1836

I think I've picked them up again in the 1861 Census in Heckingham, Norfolk

But they seem to have disappeared in between, and no matter what I try in the searches I can't find anything.

Any ideas?

Hi could he be the Robert Whines 28 occ Coachman b Norfolk
with wife Marier? 28 and children Elizabeth 5 Robert 3 and William 1 with a sister Annie aged 19
Residing at Wellington Road Islington in 1871?

How have you linked him with those parents?  He does not appear with them in Heckingham in 1861, and their children's birthplaces suggest they had been in Heckingham a long time.

Do you have a birth or marriage certificate for him showing parentage?

He does not ever actually say he was born in Loddon, does he?

So perhaps you are referring to the registration district of Loddon and the Dec qtr 1843 birth reg for Robert Whines, possibly corresponding to the 20 Jan 1844 baptism at Heckingham of Robert Wines, son of Robert and Charlotte.

They seem to be transcribed as VINCE (on A*) in 1851-in Heckingham.

His marriage certificate show  that his father is Robert Whines, horse keeper
The 1871 & 1881 Census show his birthplace as Norfolk
I did link him with the baptism 'registration district of Loddon and the Dec qtr 1843 birth reg for Robert Whines, possibly corresponding to the 20 Jan 1844 baptism at Heckingham of Robert Wines, son of Robert and Charlotte'
