baptism of Maria Bullock about 1819
« on: Sunday 21 September 14 16:13 BST (UK) »
Hello chatters
I'm asking for help in finding my x2 greatgrandmothers baptism. She was married in Edgefield in 1841
aged 23.  I've trawled Edgefield and Briston in norfolk,  registers with no luck. Her father is stated as Richard Bullock on the marriage cert but William Bullock 'signs'. Could she have been married in the church if
she hadn't been baptised?

thanks for reading this  :)

HI, not found her yet but I have the Archdeacon transcripts for Edgeield. they only go up to 1812.

However there seem to be 2 Bullock families having children baptised:

Richard Bullock & Mary Cooper who were married 8/11/ 1803 both of parish, witnesses John Clements & Pamela Gower. everyone used their mark

William Bullock & Mary Chapman marriage not found.

these 2 were prob brothers. maybe Richard died before she was married so his brother signed?

unfortunately the AT's are arranged by place then indexed so would have to search by place to find
Maria.

If you find it is this Richard / Mary there are other children
