Welcome to Rootschat mishknight.  :)

I will ask for this to be moved to the Armed Forces for you.

Hopefully Scrimnet, or Stebie9173 will be able to help and myself
if I can find anything.  :)

I wondered if you can give us a clue as to which dates we are looking at.

Thank you for your reply.  He was my great- grandmother's father.  Her name was Elsie Rose May Brooker she was born in 1911 when he was stationed in Malta.  He also had another daughter I found info on internet who died when she was one year old in 1913 and she was buried in Malta also 'Dorothy Gwendoline ASPLIN, aged 1 year, the daughter of Rose and Sergeant H.C. Asplin, 2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Died 27th November 1913'

I should have said or Carol.  ;D

Charles Harry Bertram Asplin married Rose Swallow in Northampton in 1910.

The above 2 people I mentioned above are Oracles on the Northamptonshire Regiment,
surprised neither has replied.
